Bio
Melissa is a professional makeup artist with over two decades of experience in the film and television industry.
Originally from a small French town in Quebec, her passion for storytelling through makeup began early—sparked by behind-the-scenes glimpses of American productions and iconic films, where makeup FX brought characters to life in unforgettable ways.
At 20, she began her career as a special effects lab technician in Vancouver. That hands-on introduction led her to study at Complections International Makeup School in Toronto, where she honed her craft in both beauty and effects makeup.
From major films to acclaimed television series, her career has taken her across the globe. She’s had the privilege of collaborating with incredible actors, visionary directors, and talented crews—experiences that have shaped and inspired her work.
Known for her calm presence on set, strong work ethic, and attention to detail, she brings both artistry and professionalism to every project - while new challenges and creative energy continue to inspire her passion and dedication to the work she loves.
